Can I choose my caravan's position on the park?

Yes, according to availability - we currently have 7 plots to choose from.

How quickly can we move in?

We have one caravan sited and available for holidays now. We have a further six pitches for which we're taking orders now and the caravans will be ready early next year.

When can I use my caravan?

Any time you like during the season. We will give you the opening and closing dates and you can come and go as you please - weekends, weeks or longer breaks. We currently open from 1st April through to 31st October but have applied to extend that to 5th January so that you can enjoy Christmas and New Year here.

How long can I keep my caravan on your park?

15 years; although this will be reviewed annually after 12 years, based on the caravan's condition

What type of caravan is available?

The Swift Burgundy, Moselle or Chamonix.

Are there additional charges after I've bought my caravan?

Apart from utility bills (gas, electricity & water) you pay an annual pitch fee of £1750. Gas and electricity is metered so charged as used and water is £60 per annum. Local council tax is £175 per annum and insurance is between £308 and £332 depending on which caravan you go for.

Can I let my holiday home to holidaymakers?

Yes - holiday letting can be a valuable source of income, contributing to your annual pitch fees.

Do I have to let through Franchis Holidays?

As we already have a number of lovely regular customers we feel this works best for all of us. A commission fee of 15% plus VAT is charged for all bookings taken.

Can I let my holiday home privately to friends and family?

Of course. We can also help you out by offering key collection

Will my holiday home be secure when I'm not there?

Franchis has resident owners and is very much a family, friendly holiday park where we aim to ensure a safe and secure environment for all our visitors. We do not accept single sex or young groups and do all we can to ensure that no-one is disturbing the relaxed holiday atmosphere here.

With your own static caravan holiday home at Franchis you have the freedom to use it as you wish. Some people will want to keep it all to themselves or perhaps let friends and family use it, whilst others may take the opportunity to sub-let; the choice is yours. In essence, we offer complete flexibility to make use of your caravan holiday home in the way that suits you best.
