A select development of Devon Pine Lodges set on the outskirts of our woodland

Lodge at Franchis

If you've stayed here before you'll already know that we offer more space and seclusion than most other parks and we intend to keep it that way. You can rest assured that the character of the park will never be compromised by extensive development.

Franchis is a well-regarded, family-owned park and, as a member of the BH&HPA, provides the safeguard of the industry's Code of Practice

We want you to love spending time in this beautiful part of Cornwall as much as we do!

As a potential holiday home owner, you probably have many questions relating to your first purchase. Here are a few we've anticipated..

Can I choose my holiday home's position on the park?
Yes, according to availability; we currently have just 3 plots available.

How quickly can we move in?
We aim to have all lodges ordered ready for you to enjoy by March 2012

When can I use my holiday home?
You can use your holiday home any time you like from 1st March right through to 31st January; so 11 months of the year.

How long can I keep my lodge on your park?
We issue a 40 year BH&HPA Licence.

What type of lodge is available?
Most of the Devon Pine Lodge range; please see our pricelist for details of sizes etc.

Are there additional charges after I've bought my holiday home?
You pay an annual pitch fee of £2500 (+VAT). This will be waived however for the first year.
Gas is bottled and electricity is metered. Both are charged quarterly as used. Water is £60 per annum.
Council tax is expected to be around £250 per annum but this will be confirmed shortly
Insurance is through your own provider but owners here have preferential rates through Leisuredays

Can I let my holiday home to holidaymakers?
Yes - holiday letting can be a valuable source of income, contributing to your annual costs. Sub-letting is only allowed when the campsite is open; we can advise you of these dates.

Do I have to let through 'Franchis Holidays'?
As we already have a number of lovely regular customers we feel this works best for all of us. A commission fee of 15% plus VAT is charged for all bookings taken.

Can I let my holiday home privately to friends and family?
Of course. We can also help you out by offering key collection facilities

With your own holiday home at Franchis you have the freedom to use it as you wish. Some people will want to keep it all to themselves or perhaps let friends and family use it, whilst others may take the opportunity to sub-let; the choice is yours. In essence, we offer complete flexibility to make use of your holiday home in the way that suits you best.

We will do all we can to help you get the most out of your purchase; if you're happy we're happy!
