Sandy Coves
There are so many to choose from we're sure you'll find your own favourite but.....Kynance Cove (above) is about 4 miles straight down the road from Franchis. Poldhu Cove - our closest beach at just 5 minutes drive away - is a great place to spend a sunny day with café, good sized car park, loos and good swimming as well as surf. Even in the winter its our favourite for wave watching with a huge hot chocolate!
Wonderful Walks
There is a huge variety of landscapes on The Lizard - wooded valleys around the Helford in the east, the open wild expanse of Goonhilly Downs in the centre, farmland and of course the stunning coast where you're likely to see seals, gannets, basking sharks in the warmer months and, if you're lucky, dolphins. You'll find lots more about The Lizard Peninsula on the Visit Cornwall website.
Just Unwind
The Lizard remains largely undiscovered compared to the rest of Cornwall. Even on the busiest days you'll find quiet corners, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our holiday homes are positioned in one of these quiet corners, tucked away towards the rear of the park you really will be able to escape from it all and just unwind.
